Candidates for Fonterra Board of Directors’ Election Announced
Following the completion of the Self Nomination Process for the 2016 Directors’ Election Process, Stuart Nattrass has been confirmed as a self-nominated Director candidate.
The Self Nomination Process allowed any Fonterra Shareholder (with the support of 35 different Shareholders) to put themselves forward as a Director candidate and be considered for election by their fellow Shareholders alongside the previously announced Independent Nomination Process candidates.
Stuart Nattrass joins Michael Spaans and Donna Smit, who were announced last week as the Independent Nomination Process candidates, as the three candidates standing for two places on the Fonterra Board in 2016.
Both Michael Spaans and Donna Smit were nominated by the Fonterra Board after being recommended by the Independent Selection Panel. The process for their nomination was supported by the Shareholders’ Council in accordance with the Independent Nomination Process.
