US Presidential Election – Trump looking likely victor

Election news is coming in thick and fast. Much against expectations, it is looking increasingly likely the Donald Trump will emerge victorious.
According to electionbettingodds.com, Trump’s chance of winning is currently 80.3% versus 19.4% for Hillary Clinton.
The financial markets have been subject to massive volatility today, and the currency markets being no exception. The uncertainty created by a Trump win is unnerving the markets – local equity markets are down circa 3% on the day.
