THE INSTILLERY INKS EXCLUSIVE DEAL WITH CLOUDABILITY
The Instillery Group has today confirmed a world-first partnership with Cloudability, the global leader in data-driven
Cloud Cost Management as it looks to further strengthen its own Clearstate Consulting and cloud managed service
practice.
The terms of the deal will see The Instillery become the Elite Exclusive Cloudability partner for the New Zealand and
Pacific Islands region allowing Kiwi and Pacific organisations to realise unprecedented advantages, including reduced
cost of delivery, enhanced business agility and increased reliability on core platforms.
The Instillery CEO, Mike Jenkins says that in New Zealand and across the Pacific Islands there has been growing adoption
of public cloud – a trend that is only accelerating as we approach 2017.
“Public Cloud is no longer reserved for research experiments or ‘born in the cloud’ SaaS providers. In fact, in our
experience public cloud strategies are now well entrenched in big business across the region.”
“Enterprise organisations are now delivering production infrastructure exclusively in the public cloud to support
mission critical applications, as evidenced by recent public announcements from the likes of Xero, Qantas, Atlantis
Healthcare and GE to name a few” says Jenkins.
Managing a complex enterprise IT structure in the public cloud may sound challenging, but Jenkins has some advice for
keeping things running smoothly.
Visibility is key he says, “With visibility and real time insights you can control your own destiny and avoid any
potential bill shock.”
“The Instillery’s partnership with Cloudability will enable organisations who have adopted public cloud strategies to
visualise all of their cloud spending in one place. Cost and cloud usage data is aggregated from multiple platforms
including both Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure, improving cloud spend efficiency, eliminating unexpected
overages and providing an enterprise-wide view of costs.”
“With Cloudability we can provide our customers with much more granular cost and utilisation visibility than ever
before. We can enable an authorised business or application owner to securely log into Cloudability, click on the name
of an any app, and see exactly how much it is costing to run in AWS, how much resource it was using and best of all the
potential actions available to reduce the predicted future costs. A great example of this is by leveraging the Reserved
Instance Planner to find opportunities to save on your usage.”
Cloudability Co-Founder and Chief Customer Officer, J.R. Storment, says the company is thrilled to be working with The
Instillery and is looking forward to seeing what can be achieved across the region.
"Cloudability is thrilled to be working with The Instillery as an Elite Preferred Certified Consulting Partner for the
NZ and Pacific Island region. Together, we'll be positioned to help companies grow their cloud use more quickly and
confidently with the latest in Cloud Cost Management tools and processes."
