The award winning website www.distinctionhotels.co.nz was designed and built in conjunction with Distinction Hotel’s digital marketing agency, ReserveGroup with a focus on providing an excellent user experience across all digital platforms.
The site has been very well received and is performing remarkably, providing an invaluable tool to communicate to their audience, increase brand exposure and sell their products and services.
Distinction Hotels Chief Executive Duncan Fletcher said that it was an honour to win the award.
“We are very proud of our team and we couldn’t have done this without the support of ReserveGroup” he said.
“ReserveGroup listened to our vision for the website, added ideas on design and functionality and ensured our company branding was consistent throughout, resulting in a professional and user-friendly site enabling our guests to easily book their stay and find out information. We hope our visitors enjoy the site as much as IMA does.”
ABOUT IMA Best in Class AWARD
The Best in Class award is judged by globally acclaimed industry professionals and is the highest honour bestowed by the Interactive Media Awards, created by the Interactive Media Council, Inc. (IMC), a nonprofit organization of leading web designers, developers, programmers, advertisers and other web-related professionals.
It represents the very best in planning, execution and overall professionalism. In order to win this award level, the new site had to successfully pass through a comprehensive judging process, achieving very high marks in each of the judging criteria - an achievement only a fraction of sites in the IMA competition earn each year.

Judge #5 (Robert) – “I reviewed this site on various browsers and devices, including Chrome, Safari, Firefox, PC desktop, HP laptop, iPad, iPhone, and Samsung Note (both portrait and landscape in latter three). The site was equally impressive in all cases. Great attention to detail."
