The RBNZ just released the results of their Q3 Inflation Expectations Survey.

The inflation expectations were marginally higher when compared with Q2 2016 figures.

1 year inflation expectations +1.68% (compared with Q2 +1.65%)

2 year inflation expectations +1.29% (compared with Q2 +1.26%)

The NZD moved slightly higher in immediate response.

Current indicative levels are:

NZD-USD 0.7205 / 0.7230
NZD-AUD 0.9455 / 0.9480
NZD-EUR 0.6515 / 0.6540
NZD-GBP 0.5890 / 0.5915
NZD-JPY 74.85 / 75.10
