20 scholarships up for grabs at leading travel & tourism college
Calling all travel addicts! The International Travel College of New Zealand (ITC) is giving away 20 scholarships to celebrate its 20th birthday. Don’t miss this opportunity to kick-start your travel and tourism career at one of New Zealand’s top training institutions.
“Studying at ITC is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of the tourism industry,” says Shalu Dass, a recent graduate.
“You will gain all the knowledge and training required to go into the industry. ITC really shapes you for the world.”
Scholarships range between $1,000 and $5,000 NZD and will be awarded to applicants who can demonstrate outstanding enthusiasm for studying airline, travel or tourism at ITC.
“We’re looking for passionate, motivated individuals who have a true desire to gain a tourism qualification,” says ITC Account Manager Ceri Jenkins.
“If you love travel, meeting new people, and want to join an industry that’s fun, rewarding, and growing rapidly, then an ITC scholarship could be the perfect stepping stone.”
The New Zealand tourism industry is enjoying incredible growth, with record numbers of holidaymakers visiting the country each year. According to recent predictions, around 35 per cent of all NZ job openings between 2017 and 2020 will be in the tourism, hospitality, retail, aviation, and travel sectors.
“There’s a massive demand for skilled tourism graduates. We can prepare you for the workforce and help you land your first job,” says Ceri.
“And with 20 scholarships up for grabs, what have you got to lose?”
