Rothbury named IBM Kenexa Best Workplaces finalist again
Rothbury Insurance Brokers has been named a finalist in the Medium-Large category of the 2016 IBM Kenexa Best Workplaces Programme, New Zealand’s largest and longest running study of workplace climate and employee engagement. The Best Workplaces survey identifies the best places to work in New Zealand, as rated by employees.
Over 36,000 employees from 210 organisations, across both private and public sectors, participated in the survey in 2016. Employees provide their perceptions of their workplace on areas such as leadership, development opportunities, involvement, recognition and more.
“It’s an honour to achieve finalist status for the fourth year running,” says Christine Barkley, Executive General Manager – Human Resources at Rothbury. “We want to retain and attract great people at Rothbury. The Best Workplaces Survey gives us a unique insight in to where there are opportunities to be a better workplace for our people. And it enables us to see where we are doing things well.”
“Achieving finalist status in the IBM Kenexa Best Workplaces Programme is one of the most reliable indicators of a great workplace because it’s based on the voice of the employee,” says Emma Martin, Senior Consultant, IBM Kenexa New Zealand. “It’s an accolade that clearly distinguishes New Zealand’s top ‘employers of choice’.”
The winners of the 2016 IBM Kenexa Best Workplaces Awards will be announced at a black tie dinner in Auckland on 3 November.
The programme is proudly supported by AUT Faculty of Business, Economics and Law, the Employers and Manufacturers Association (EMA) and Kiwibank.
