NZ’s foremost Environment, Health & Safety and Sustainability software earns local and international recognition; expands offshore
AUCKLAND, SEPTEMBER 28, 2016: FoundationFootprint™ is once again the only New Zealand product to have been awarded the
Top Product of the Year Award in the international Environmental Leader Product & Project Awards 2016. It was considered by the judges to be a comprehensive solution, with one judge saying:
“FoundationFootprint accurately diagnoses one of the biggest pain points in sustainability reporting and provides an
innovative solution. Organizations embarking on sustainability rarely have the necessary resources to gather and analyze
the massive amounts of data required by this undertaking. This software appears to be a comprehensive solution, bringing
together all those involved in a particular initiative, and is not just a numbers-reporting system.”
A second judge noted:
“Reporting fatigue” is a common complaint, in part because existing tools are so very cumbersome, while
FoundationFootprint provides a less labor-intensive, likely more cost-effective, and significantly quicker way to get to
the starting gate where actual progress can begin to be measured.”
The Environmental Leader Product & Project Awards is a program recognising excellence in products and services that provide companies with energy and
environmental benefits, or in projects implemented by companies that improved environmental or energy management and
increased the bottom line.
Scores were determined by a panel of independent judges headed by Peter Bussey, LNS Research and also including judges
from companies including Zee Water & Energy Management, University of Colorado, Ball Aerospace & Technology, BSI EHS Services & Solutions, Denver International Airport, General Motors, MUFG Union Bank, C, Staples, US Department of Energy, USG Corporation and University of California Berkeley amongst others.
