Top Indian Entrepreneurs to share insights at the historic and first New Zealand India Business Women Conclave
The first NZ India Business Women Conclave will feature 42 strong all women CEO delegation from India and will be held on Friday 23 September at The Langham in Auckland.
‘For NZ businesses to work closer with Indian counterparts, we need collaborative working relationship with our counterparts in India to lay a platform for Kiwi firms to be able to engage at business level’, says Chairman Giri Gupta.
The first Conclave is hosted by India Trade Alliance and is designed to bring women business leaders from New Zealand and India and discuss challenges and opportunities around Women in Leadership, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Vinita Bimbhet, President Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ladies Organisation (FICCI FLO) says, ‘"The FLO business delegations hopes to spread knowledge and awareness about India's trade and business opportunities and also strengthen relationship amongst the women of these two countries by exchanging ideas and by being able to discuss issues that affect working women in both countries. We are also excited to visit this very beautiful country with its breathtaking scenery which sets it apart from the rest of the world and are sure that we shall go back with memories to treasure.”
The first annual conclave themed “Leadership, Innovation, Entrepreneurship” will address the needs and challenges of women in business in both countries, consider different perspectives and make lasting connections. The event brings together 150 attendees, 10 professional speakers and panelist and offers interactive session designed specifically for the audience based on hearing and exchanging best practices from both sides of the world.

We strive through our exceptional and insightful speakers, experienced facilitators and detailed planning to create a lasting impact for each individual – current, emerging or future leader - who attends our conclave,” said Sunil Kaushal, General Secretary of India Trade Alliance. “We are confident that the energy and expertise of each of these keynote speakers and panelist will help our attendees develop deeper insight in to the NZ India Market and develop on the best practices shared.”
