New Marketing Provider for Kiwi Personalised Number Plates

New Sales and Marketing Provider for Kiwi Personalised Number Plates Announced

MEDIA RELEASE 2 August 2016

Publicis Communication Pty Ltd., part of the worldwide Publicis Group, has this week taken on the sales and marketing of personalised number plates in New Zealand, which has now been branded as KiwiPlates.

Following a competitive tender process involving Market Engagement and the signing of a five year contract (with two 3 year rights of renewal), the New Zealand Transport Agency appointed Publicis as its local provider for personalised vehicle registration (number) plates. Publicis will share the revenue they earn with the Transport Agency.

KiwiPlates Managing Director, Robert Kent says, “Publicis is an excellent fit for this important role here in New Zealand. For the past three years Publicis has been operating the Personalised Plates Queensland business and have also managed the Queensland and Tasmanian personalised plates advertising accounts for eight years from 2001 to 2008.

“As well as a new brand name, we have introduced an exciting new range of personalised number plates which are available now,” concludes Robert.

Publicis is well-known throughout Australasia and aims to grow the KiwiPlates business in New Zealand through the deployment of innovative marketing strategies.

Publicis is the world’s third largest advertising and communications company with offices in over 250 cities throughout the world. Publicis specialises in strategy, advertising, call centre operations, customer relationship management, digital and website development, media strategy and buying, mobile phone application development and shopper marketing. The company employs over 200 New Zealanders through its Auckland-based creative and media agencies and its Qantas call centre business, Publicis Loyalty.
