Viva Las Vegas for lucky Aucklander!
One Aucklander couldn’t believe her luck today as she jetted off to dazzling Las Vegas, courtesy of The Loop Duty Free at Auckland International Airport.
Alex Cragg was the winner of The Loop Duty Free’s Viva Las Vegas promotion, which was open to all customers who spent over $100 in store. The grand prize included flights to Las Vegas, accommodation at the Palms Casino Resort and an in-store gift voucher.
The lucky winner and her husband are travelling to Vegas, along with their son, to not only spend some time in Vegas, but also catch up with their family who they rarely get the chance to see.
Alex Cragg, 38 years old, from Point Chevalier, said of the win; “I’m not a betting person but I feel like we have hit the jackpot with this competition! My husband is American so this gives us the chance to go and visit his family and the happiness is spread far and wide!”
Tom Byrne, General Manager, The Loop Duty Free New Zealand, said; “Since we arrived in New Zealand last year, we have strived to set ourselves apart and create innovative ways to engage with customers to provide a memorable shopping experience. Our Viva Las Vegas Campaign, complete with Vegas show girls, roulette wheel and the opportunity for customers to try their luck at winning prizes, delivers on this commitment, whilst also having a little fun at the same time. I’m also delighted that the prize is going to such a deserving winner. Congratulations Alex!”
