Acquisition results in largest Australasia NetSuite practice
Fusion5’s latest acquisition results in largest NetSuite practice in Australasia
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE JULY 14, 2016—Auckland Another strategic move by business applications company Fusion5 adds further depth to their already considerable ERP capabilities. The purchase of BPR Solutions sees Fusion5 set to dominate the NetSuite space in both New Zealand and Australia.
Established in 2002, BPR Solutions was one of the first NetSuite certified Solution Partners in Australasia and has offices in Auckland and Sydney. The acquisition sees Simon Ede, owner and founder of BPR, joining Fusion5 as a Senior Executive, focussed on developing Fusion5 NetSuite sales. With all BPR staff now on board at Fusion5, the boosted NetSuite team is close to 30 people.
Rebecca Tohill, Fusion5’s Chief Executive Australia / New Zealand, says that the acquisition of BPR is a reflection of the success of NetSuite in the market and the widespread move to Cloud for enterprise applications.
“Simon and his team give us the critical mass essential to substantially grow our NetSuite capabilities,” says Tohill. “As well as their deep knowledge of core NetSuite, they have expertise in areas we haven’t made headway into yet. BPR also brings across a number of innovative NetSuite add-on solutions to add to our growing portfolio of IP vertical solutions.”
Grant Robertson, Fusion5’s Director for NetSuite, reminds us that the purchase of BPR also adds more than 30 NetSuite clients, split evenly across New Zealand and Australia, to Fusion5’s already strong list of customers. New customers include SurfStitch, Venerdi, Digital Video Technologies, Aotea Machinery and Phoenix Distribution.
Ede says that the existing BPR customers are in safe hands. “As well as it being businessas-usual - with the entire BPR team joining Fusion5 – it’s worth noting that Fusion5 received the NetSuite Award for Customer Service Excellence at the recent 2016 NetSuite Australia and New Zealand Partner Kick-off.”
BPR is Fusion5’s second major acquisition already this year. In February 2016 they purchased the Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SharePoint practices of Koorb Consulting. Adding Koorb’s award-winning CRM team to the Fusion5 CRM/CX pillar, immediately positioned the company as one of the leading Dynamics CRM partners in New Zealand.
Bringing BPR on-board pushes Fusion5’s portfolio out to over 700 customers and 280 staff across nine offices.
