The Block NZ Continues to Perform & Family Feud a Winner on Thursday

The Block NZ: Girls vs Boys continues to be a hit with Kiwis across the country, winning a number of audience demographics this season against its competitor My Kitchen Rules on TV2.

The show is currently the fifth highest rating TV3 programme for the year in its target audience demographic of 25-54, a figure expected to climb as the season approaches its finale.

Matching audience viewing habits, the programme is seeing continuous growth in On-Demand viewing, with an increase in Video On-Demand viewing and live-streaming of The Block NZ content compared to last season.

TV3’s local version of Family Feud continues to draw a strong audience, with Thursday’s episode winning its timeslot and beating Home and Away on TV2 and The Chase on TV ONE in all key commercial demographics.

The Dinglasan’s vs the Po-Ching’s battle for $5,000 saw the timeslot's highest audiences in 25-54, 18-39, 18-49 and Household Shoppers with Kids tune in to see the Po-Ching family claim victory over the game and take home the cash.

The Edge had their own highlights, holding a private rooftop performance with Broods on Wednesday evening. The event followed the announcement of The Edge re-brand as a finalist in the 2016 New Zealand Marketing Awards, along with Magic for their launch campaign.
