New CEO for Fidelity Life
New Zealand owned insurance company Fidelity Life has announced the appointment of Nadine Tereora as Chief Executive Officer.
Chairman Ian Braddock says Tereora is a well-known and highly respected figure in the financial services sector and the board is thrilled she is joining the company.
“Nadine brings to the role extensive experience, proven business acumen and a focus on driving transformation and growth through sound strategy. She is a visionary business leader and her appointment signals the start of an exciting new chapter for the company,” says Braddock.
Tereora joined Suncorp Group in 2012 and has most recently led Asteron Life as CEO/Executive General Manager. Prior to that, she held a number of senior financial services positions including Chief Operating Officer at AIA New Zealand and several senior roles at Sovereign.
“I am delighted to take up this new position and look forward to working with the Fidelity Life team to deliver new opportunities and growth for the business,” says Tereora.
Tereora will take up the role in October, replacing Milton Jennings who stepped down as CEO earlier this year. Ed Eadie has led the company as Acting CEO in the months since and will continue to do so until Tereora joins the company.
