New Group Manager Community Services

New Group Manager Community Services

Kāpiti Coast District Council has appointed Max Pedersen to the role of Group Manager Community Services.

Chief Executive Pat Dougherty says Mr Pedersen will bring significant local government experience to the role, having previously held the position of Chief Executive of Upper Hutt City Council for 17 years.

“This is a critical role for our council, overseeing some of our most significant public-facing activities and managing some of our key relationships with partners and stakeholders,” Mr Dougherty says.

“I have every confidence that Max, a Kāpiti Coast resident, has the right combination of skills, experience and local knowledge to be an effective and valuable addition to our organisation.”

Mr Pedersen will take up the role on Monday 29 August 2016.
