Seresin Estate Partners With Mineral

Seresin Estate Partners With Mineral

A new partnership between Seresin Estate and Mineral is a positive step forward, says Seresin Estate General Manager Michelle Connor.

She announced today that Mineral is to include the Seresin, OSIP and MOMO brands in its portfolio for distribution in New Zealand.

“Our two businesses share a common ethos and place a high value on forging strong relationships. This new partnership will enable Seresin Estate to work more closely with our domestic customers.”

Mineral is a boutique national wine distributor with a focus on organic and biodynamic wine. It was founded in 2011 by principals James Barber and Stephanie Reade, and now represents more than 25 brands from around the world.

Reade says Mineral is rapt to welcome Seresin into the portfolio. “They are a terrific fit for us and a great complement to the collection of high quality, family owned producers we already represent.”

Seresin Estate was founded in 1992 by cinematographer Michael Seresin, and is certified organic and grown biodynamically. Traditional winemaking practices are valued, and all Seresin wines are hand-harvested and fermented using natural yeast. They spend more time in barrel and bottle before release, ensuring savouriness and texture is realised. This year marks the 20th vintage from the winery.

The distribution agreement will take effect from 1 July, 2016.
