Rotorua Couple Bound for Disneyland

Rotorua Couple Bound for Disneyland

It was to be a low-key honeymoon for Rotorua couple Tessa Haywood and her fiancé Simon Munday when they married early next year.

But now the couple will be jetting off to LA to celebrate their honeymoon – with not only Simon’s two sons Harry and Sam, but also with Mickey, Minnie and a whole host of other Disney characters – as the winner of the Warehouse Money Visa Card Disneyland competition.

Tessa has won flights for four to LA, 7 nights’ accommodation at the Doubletree Hotel by Hilton, seven days care hire from Hertz and 3-day family passes to Disneyland Park and Disney’s Adventure Park.

Just to really add to the magic, it will be the first time the two boys have ever been out of New Zealand – and just the second time for Tessa, too.

“This is something we would never have been able to do if it we hadn’t won this prize,” says Tessa. “The boys are beside themselves with excitement – it is their first overseas trip. It’s really wonderful to be able to have this opportunity to holiday together as a family and celebrate our wedding.”

Tessa and Simon have been together for 10 years. Their plan had been to marry early next year and have a night or two at a local hotel. Now, the couple are instead talking with their travel agent and organising dates to head to ‘the happiest place on earth’ in LA.

Tessa went into the draw for the Warehouse Money Disneyland Competition when she signed up for a Warehouse Money Visa Card at The Warehouse.
