Colliers wins five RICS Awards
Colliers International wins five awards in industry leading awards.

Colliers International achieved first place in five of the eight awards it entered at the annual Royal Institution of
Chartered Surveyors (RICS) New Zealand commercial property awards last night.
(June 1).
One of its five victories was the overall award for most sales transactions over $5 million. This is the sixth year in a
row Colliers has won this key category.
The four other RICS award victories, based on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, were: Property/Facility Management Team of the Year, Industrial Team of the Year, Valuation Team of the Year and the Research and Consulting Team of the Year.
Colliers International CEO, Mark Synnott, says his team is very proud of the long track record of success Colliers has
within such highly recognised industry awards as RICS.
“RICS has made a point of weighting its criteria for award winners from a largely numbers and quantitative focus to one
built around qualitative achievements. Many of the awards were based on the quality of the team’s work, such as the
success and complexity of a specific project, client satisfaction, innovative approaches and sustainability initiatives.
“It demonstrates our teams can win based on both the quality of their work, as well as their impressive sales figures.”

RICS is the world's leading professional body for qualifications and standards in land, property and construction, with
about 180,000 qualified members world-wide.
The Property/Facility Management Team of the Year award went to Colliers for the fourth year in a row. This year it was won by the Corporate Solutions team led by Don
Smith, for the work done managing Z Energy’s national portfolio.
The Industrial Team of the Year was awarded to the Colliers Highbrook industrial team, led by Greg Goldfinch, for the seventh year in a row.
Colliers Research and Consulting team, led by Alan McMahon, received the Research and Consulting Team of the Year award for producing market insights for clients around the country for the second year in a row - having won this
inaugural category last year.
Colliers International’s Valuation New Zealand business, led by Kane Sweetman, won the Valuation Team of the Year. It was the first time the business had entered this category.
