Brother means business with powerful new range


This week Brother International (NZ) Limited has launched an impressive range of laser printers and multi-function centres (MFCs) in a move that signals the start of a new global brand direction.


Positioning themselves as a brand for business, Brother NZ is responding to a growing need for custom solutions and more tailored, hands on partnerships that help businesses improve efficiency and productivity.


The innovative new range of mono lasers has been developed with the flexibility to adapt to different office requirements of all sizes. It is also designed to sit across a broad range of industries, including healthcare, public sectors, hospitality and retail.

“This is our most impressive printer launch to date and reinforces our position as a global provider and local partner for all New Zealand businesses,” Brother International (NZ) Limited Chief Operating Officer, Matthew Stroud, says.

“Our aim is to create bespoke solutions, no matter what your size, that meet those goals as well as being an on-going, responsive, hands-on partner developing solutions that grow and evolve,” Stroud adds.

Answering critical large office workflow needs, the new mono-laser models from Brother have faster print speeds, a competitive to lower than average total cost of ownership, more flexible paper handling capabilities, advanced scanning, convenient mobility features and access to business Cloud services.

“Brother products are known around the world for being intuitive and simple for IT administrators to manage, but this new range is in a new league and set to be a game changer for our business and our customers,” he adds.

The new Brother mono laser series also speaks to today’s modern wireless working environment, both in the workplace and on the road, providing more mobile flexibility.

Brother Industries Limited General Manager Global Corporate and SMB Business, Mr Yoshio Nakao, says this range is about providing bespoke solutions that are tailored and customisable to any sized business. Nakao will be in New Zealand to support the launch and join the board of Brother International (NZ) Limited.


“The range not only provides serious options for SMBs through to large corporates, but all partnerships deliver on Brother’s renowned service and support commitment, of being ‘at your side’, that New Zealand businesses have benefited from for over 50 years,” Nakao says.

“From free delivery, installation and recycling across the business range, to remote monitoring of consumables and managed print solutions, Brother has a solution for all businesses,” Stroud adds.

A 7-day Kiwi helpdesk is also available whenever customers require support, plus all machines that use genuine Brother consumables benefit from a 3-year onsite warranty.

The new Brother models have been highly praised by the Buyer’s Laboratory (BLI), a globally-respected independent resource and testing company for the document imaging industry.

They noted the machines’ reliability, particularly in high volume printing and said the Brother models offer competitive, to lower than average, cost of ownership. “Even during peak periods, users won’t see any noticeable slowdowns in output speeds,” BLI, Office Equipment Product Analysis Director, Mariene Orr, says.


Ease of use was also highlighted by BLI, as was its robust scan features that boost worker productivity, and simple affordable content sharing and collaboration in the cloud with Brother Web Connect2.


The new Brother mono laser series is available from mid May 2016.
