Delta Insurance Partners with Antares to Double Capacity to $30 Million
Responding to increased demand from kiwi businesses for greater liability cover
Auckland, 26 May 2016 – Today, New Zealand-owned specialist liability provider, Delta Insurance New Zealand Limited, announced a new capacity partnership with Antares, an independent Managing Agent at Lloyd’s through its Syndicate 1274, doubling its liability cover to $30 million.
From 30th May, 2016 onwards brokers and insureds will have access to policies with increased capacity and existing clients will have the ability to review policies for greater coverage. Delta will be the first local New Zealand provider to offer $30 million limits for some specialist liability lines of business in which it already provides market leading coverage: Cyber Insurance; Technology Liability; and Environmental Insurance.
In addition to this the additional capacity will also be available for the more mainstream liability coverages that Delta offers including Professional Indemnity, Directors and Officers Insurance; Financial Institutions and General Liability Insurance.
The additional capacity reflects the growing trend of insured’s increasing their liability limits says Ian Pollard, Managing Director of Delta Insurance, “New Zealand businesses are increasingly dealing with rapidly changing and complex risk and by doubling our capacity we can now offer a broader range of products and higher limits of insurance to better meet customer’s needs.”
“It’s important that customers can be 100 percent certain of how our liability products are funded, transparency is a cornerstone of how Delta Insurance operates and we’re pleased to enter into this Coverholder arrangement with Antares,” adds Pollard.
“We not only provide unique and effective approaches to insurance solutions but also pride ourselves on our enduring and long-term relationships,” he said.
The announcement builds on Delta Insurance’s existing partnership with Allied World, accessed as a Coverholder via Lloyd’s of London.
