Finalists Named in First Ever NZ RCSA Awards
Six leading New Zealand companies are among finalists announced in the inaugural New Zealand RCSA Awards for excellence,
with one company being named in three separate Award categories.
Those competing for what are quickly becoming the industry’s most sought-after accolades include Tradestaff Group, which
is in the running for Awards in three separate categories, Sourced Limited, Legal Personnel, Hays and Christchurch
Labour Hire Safety Forum. Industry luminaries Claire Pattinson from Tradestaff Group and Shay Peters from Robert Walters
will vie for the ultimate individual Award, the PEARL Professional Recruiter Award.

Judging for the 2016 Corporate Social Responsibility Award, sponsored by Voyager Software, was still progressing as this story went to press.
The RCSA Awards were established three years ago for Australia and New Zealand to recognise and encourage the
achievement of excellence in key areas across recruitment and employment services. The growing popularity of the Awards,
which are hosted by the industry’s peak body the Recruitment & Consulting Services Association (RCSA) and sponsored by Kinetic Super, led this year to the creation of a stand-alone
event for the New Zealand market.
The Awards are judged by panels of independent experts who offer particular expertise in the areas covered. This year,
the NZ judges said submissions showcased the depth of talent in the industry and the commitment of entrants to the
achievement of excellence, making the task of selecting the winners a difficult one.
Incoming RCSA CEO, Charles Cameron, said the Awards are not only important to celebrate achievement, but to shine a
spotlight on the kind of commitment, high standards and dedication which RCSA Members demonstrate every day in a
challenging and changing environment.
“At this time of rapid change in the recruitment and employment services market, it is critical to identify and
celebrate the amazing contribution of our industry leaders with these Awards,” he said today.
“We are proud to have such a wonderful depth of talent and dedication within our RCSA membership, and I am very excited
to recognise this year’s winners, who have all demonstrated their commitment to excellence in these critical areas.”
The New Zealand Awards will be presented at the RCSA NZ Gala Ball at the Hilton Auckland on 16 June, hosted by comedian
Ben Hurley of TV3’s Show Days.
