A new video documenting 25 year old Kiwi plumber Logan Dodds’ ultimate New Zealand OE is set to inspire young New Zealanders to get out and explore their backyard.
Air New Zealand has supported Logan Dodds and his friend Trent Nattrass to experience all New Zealand has to offer – the end result KiwiDaze – an epic four minute video showcasing their adventures and jaw dropping scenery throughout the country over six weeks of summer.
From Cape Reinga to Bluff, Coromandel, Rotorua, Wellington, Blenheim, Franz Josef, Wanaka, Dunedin and many more gems,KiwiDaze will open the eyes of viewers to the amazing experience to be had at home. The boys get a thrill out of skydiving, bungee jumping, hiking, canyoning, swimming with dolphins, taking in the serenity of New Zealand’s sweeping landscapes and enjoying some delicious Kiwi fare.
Logan Dodds has been all over Europe and North America capturing the imagination of millions by documenting his adventures across social media. His Europe video achieved five million views and now it’s New Zealand’s turn with the release of KiwiDazewhich Dodds says is his best yet.
Logan has already created two short video snippets to show what he and Trent have been up to along the way and documented the adventure across Instagram and now it’s time to launch KiwiDaze to the world.
Air New Zealand Head of Global Brand Jodi Williams says the airline partnered with Logan to showcase how New Zealand stacked up with the rest of the world when it comes to travel – and to show younger New Zealanders that sometimes, the biggest adventure of all lies in our own backyard.
“Our work with Logan is all about supercharging New Zealand’s success and getting eyeballs on New Zealand. KiwiDaze, the big hero piece of content that shows the entire journey, is an amazing piece and we think it will capture the imagination of not only New Zealanders, but the rest of the world too.”
Logan Dodds says, “We were blown away by the number of hidden gems around New Zealand. Hokitika is my new favourite place in New Zealand. The Blue Springs at Putaruru literally took our breath away, the West Coast is stunning, and nothing beats the raw kiwi-ness of the Far North.
“I’m incredibly lucky that I get to live the life of my dreams, and my videos are my way of sharing the happiness it brings me. I hope people love it.”
The video features an all local soundtrack of music by Jupiter Project, Kings and General Lee, and Baynk.
