Farmers and rural business
professionals in Gisborne will have an opportunity to
develop their businesses and strengthen their networks with
the launch of the Gisborne Rural Business Network Hub next

The Rural Business Network provides an opportunity for rural-based business people to participate in events that will help them grow their business through networking and learning from others. RBN aims to connect innovative, motivated people from across the range of primary industry sectors with successful, experienced businessmen and women creating opportunities to share ideas, be inspired and learn by example.
The Gisborne Rural Business Network Hub will be the 9th Hub throughout the country. RBN is free to join, however, there is usually a charge to attend each Hub’s quarterly get-togethers and events.
The first Gisborne RBN event will feature guest speaker is Dr Jacqueline Rowarth, Professor of Agribusiness at Waikato University. Ms Rowarth obtained an Agricultural Science degree with honours in Environmental Agricultural Science and has a PhD in Soil Science from Massey University.
