Businesses Sought for "Hall of Fame"

Friday, 8 April 2016

Media Release

The Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce are seeking regional businesses to be inducted into the “Wellington Region Business Hall of Fame”.

Nominations are now open for the annual “Wellington Region Business Hall of Fame” brought to you by The Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce.

The Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce and sponsors Deloitte Private have joined forces to celebrate the Regions Businesses. Eight businesses are inducted yearly to recognise and celebrate diversity and dedication of the many businesses that are contributing to the economy.

The Wellington Region Business Hall of Fame focuses on the delivery of business excellence in a resilient and sustainable manner over a decent length of time. “Businesses deserve to be recognised says Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive Mark Futter, for such immense and long standing contributions”.

Businesses that are contributing towards the economy of the region in addition to delivering sustainably within the community and social fabric of the now global villages in which we all live, work and play, are essential elements that will be taken into account for potential inductees.

Nominations close on April 29, 2016. All nominees must have been in business for at least 20 years and will be passed onto an independent judging panel where they will select eight outstanding business inductees.

The Eight businesses will be inducted into the prestigious “Wellington Region Hall of Fame” at a dinner to be hosted at the Silverstream Retreat, 3 Reynolds Bach Drive, Lower Hutt on Friday July 8, 2016.

Tickets to the Hall of Fame dinner go on sale on Friday May 27, 2016.
