New Director Consultant for BNI networking business groups
Business people in the Taranaki region get support from new Director Consultant for BNI networking business groups
Taranaki, Monday April 4th, 2016 – With the decline in oil production in the Taranaki Basin, businesses in the region are beginning to feel the impact.
To help support businesses looking to grow, Troy Beavan has been appointed Regional BNI Director Consultant for three business groups in the Taranaki region, with currently 60 businesspeople participating. These groups are part of the wider BNI New Zealand networking organisation.
Troy joined BNI two years ago after launching his own business - Advanced Exterior Cleaning. He was a complete newcomer to business having virtually no experience in business development, public speaking, or marketing. All these skills he’s picked up at BNI.
This new role will allow him to mentor and support other businesspeople – many of whom are in the same position he was 2 years ago.
“I want to bring more people with startups like myself into BNI,” Troy says. “It’s awesome to see people coming into our organisation with little or no experience and watch them grow as they pick up new skills and develop their businesses.” Troy says BNI’s referral marketing techniques are perfect for small and medium-sized businesses in the Taranaki region that are looking to grow their sales by creating relationships with other operators.
Troy enjoys getting out into the country hunting and fishing; he’s a keen member of Inglewood Rod, Gun and Recreational Club.
