Intergen recognised as four-time winner at Microsoft New Zealand Partner Awards 2016
Technology company Intergen adds another four Microsoft awards to its cabinet, showing once again the quality of its solutions and people.
Auckland, New Zealand — March 31, 2016 — IT services firm Intergen has received awards in four categories at this year’s Microsoft Partner Awards.
Intergen was awarded Data Analytics Partner of the Year for its work delivering a self-service business intelligence environment for travel company JUCY. Intergen’s work with Ryman Healthcare on the retirement village operator’s transformative myRyman app was recognised in two awards: Devices and Deployment Partner of the Year Windows App Developer Partner of the Year (the latter received jointly with NV Interactive).
Andrew Kosmadakis, Intergen’s Practice Manager, Cloud Design and Integration, has also been awarded in the Partner Seller of the Year category. This is a special win for Kosmadakis, as nominations for this category are made by Microsoft directly, recognising remarkable personal performance during the sales cycle and implementation of technical solutions.
Every year Microsoft New Zealand recognise companies that integrate Microsoft solutions into their products and services by awarding those showing exceptional quality in outcomes and services that benefit Kiwi businesses, locally and abroad.
Simon Bright, Intergen’s Chief Executive Officer, says Intergen is very excited to be recognised as winners across such a broad range of categories, and to have achieved a number of firsts in this year’s awards.
“We are delighted to have been recognised as winners in four categories at this year’s Partner Awards. We believe this is true recognition of the quality and breadth of the work we do across the entire Microsoft platform.
“We were very excited to receive accolades in several categories that are new to Intergen, and to have received more awards in a single year than ever before. We were also particularly pleased to have Intergen’s work on Ryman Healthcare’s myRyman app recognised in two awards.
“The myRyman app is one of the most innovative and forward-looking projects Intergen has had the privilege of working on and is an excellent example of mobile, cloud-based technologies helping to enhance and enrich the lives of an organisation’s end users; in this case, Ryman’ residents.”
The myRyman app, currently in roll-out phase across Ryman’s 30 retirement villages, will eventually run on Surface devices in all residents’ rooms. It is a transformational tool capturing all resident information, improving communication between residents, relatives and staff, ultimately designed to improve the care experience and allow Ryman staff to focus on people, not paperwork.
Part of the Empired Group, an ASX listed company employing more than 900 people across Australasia, Intergen is one of the largest and longest-serving dedicated providers of Microsoft-based solutions in New Zealand. It has received Microsoft Partner awards in nine of the past ten years, and has been overall Partner of the Year four times.
