Tour packages to follow All Blacks in Argentina & South Africa on sale now
All Blacks Tours
have launched tour packages for the ever-popular
destinations of Argentina and South Africa later this year.
The two countries have been growing in popularity for All
Blacks fans looking for a travel experience that
incorporates the best of sport, culture and magical
scenery.
Argentina has been particularly enticing since Air New Zealand began its direct flight route to Buenos Aires last year.
"We speak to a lot of All Blacks fans that have always wanted to go to these countries and the opportunity to take in some world-class rugby and support their team is the perfect reason to go,” said David Caldwell, General Manager of All Blacks Tours.
"It really is the trip of a lifetime.”
All Blacks Tours have a variety of package options available, from a 19-night tour that takes in both countries to weekend options for those that want a short, yet immersive city and rugby experience.
Some of the highlights include city tours of Buenos Aires, an excursion to Iguazu Falls, exclusive events that get fans closer to the All Blacks team environment, Durban, Cape Town and a safari experience, staying at the famous Legend Golf and Safari Resort near Johannesburg.
The All Blacks take on Argentina on 1 October before flying to Durban where they face South Africa on 8 October. Both games are expected to be fierce encounters for the new look All Blacks side and the quality of rugby will be world-class given all three sides made the semi-finals at Rugby World Cup 2015.
The last time the All Blacks met South Africa in Durban was in 2009, when the home side prevailed 31-19, with first-five Morne Steyn scoring all points via a try, conversion and eight penalties.
"We have received a lot of enquiries about these tours over the past six months and expect packages to sell quickly. " said Mr Caldwell.
"Aside from the destination, fans are also interested in the quality of rugby and stadium atmosphere that they will witness. 60,000 Argentinian fans supporting their team is a sight to behold. "
Packages start from $1,185 for a weekend land-only package in Durban. Phone 0800 87 2011 or visit www.allblackstours.com to find out more.
