Loyalty Joins Payments NZ As First Loyalty Industry Partner
Auckland, 9 March 2016 - Loyalty New Zealand, the company that manages the Fly Buys programme, joins Payments NZ as a key industry partner which is a first for the New Zealand market.
Loyalty CEO Stephen England-Hall says now is the right time for the two organisations to partner as payments and loyalty programmes collaborate together in the digital space.
“This a great opportunity for Loyalty and Payments NZ to make the most of digital technology, data analytics and payments platforms we each bring to millions of New Zealanders. We are enhancing our offering to retailers and customers with an integrated, personalised experience that is constantly evolving.”
England-Hall adds that Loyalty joining with Payments NZ creates a powerful new industry partnership.
“The opportunities in the payments and retail landscape are exciting. We are seeing emerging technologies, new players, disruptive strategies and changes in consumer behaviour and we want to ensure retailers stay ahead of the game.
“We give retailers access to the most advanced technology and payments platforms so they can interact with and deliver value to their customers.”
The CEO of Payments NZ Steve Wiggins says that the addition of Loyalty New Zealand to its membership base is exciting as they contribute a new voice and important perspective to the strategic direction and innovation of New Zealand’s payments systems.
“Loyalty is the first loyalty programme to partner with Payments NZ. We know that retailers know a lot more about their consumers’ needs than ever before thanks to Loyalty, but responding to that knowledge is the key to providing a great customer experience and to developing innovative ways of delivering payments and loyalty services,” says Wiggins.
