Softsource Announces New Zealand’s 1st, Microsoft Azure Certified for Hybrid Cloud Data Centre
08 March, 2016
Softsource, a leading ICT systems integrator, today announced the launch of its next generation Infrastructure as a Service offering “entrada Hybrid IaaS”, heralding Australasia’s first Microsoft Azure Certified for Hybrid Cloud Data Centre.
“We are delighted that Softsource is the first Microsoft Partner in Australasia to achieve Microsoft Azure Certified Status for its entrada Hybrid IAAS Cloud Solution,” says Brent Kendrick, Director of Small Midmarket Solutions & Partner Group for Microsoft NZ.
“With Microsoft Azure Certification, customers can be confident that their hosting providers are delivering world class Hybrid Cloud Solutions as they transition their businesses to the Cloud. This is because it is built on a reference architecture that is robust and provides the flexibility to leverage the benefits of both locally hosted and public cloud scenarios,” says Kendrick.
This elite Microsoft endorsement certifies the entrada platform is Azure compliant and adheres to world standards, ensuring New Zealand businesses access to a world class Hybrid Data Centre solution through a single source for both locally hosted and public clouds. The Hybrid model, incorporating a mix of local cloud and Azure hosted virtual machines on demand, allows businesses to transverse platforms through a single point of control, as and when required.
“Multi-cloud services are redefining how businesses think and adopt cloud computing, and our hybrid IaaS platform means that customers can choose where their critical data and workloads reside, whether in New Zealand or in Microsoft's global Data Centres. Essentially, we take care of the plumbing, so customers are assured that access to these services whether from a desktop computer, mobile or tablet device, irrespective of whether in a public or private cloud domain, is seamless and centrally managed on one consistent identity platform. Furthermore, this eliminates most of the cost and complexity usually associated with networking and integrating public and private cloud environments, ensuring that security and compliance standards are met including archiving and data loss prevention.” …said Pablo Garcia-Curtis, General Manager at Softsource.
Businesses no longer need to manage and maintain multiple subscriptions and complex network configurations to integrate and manage their IT environment saving time and money.
