Network summary for week ending 6 March 2016

Electricity

A very busy week for Vector crews with ten house/building fires attended to. These occurred in Remuera, Pt England, Highland Park, Ranui, Mt Wellington, Waiheke, Devonport, Ellerslie, Mt Albert and Mangere. Crews attended at the request of the fire service in order to isolate the electricity supply for safety.

Crews also attended eight car v pole incidents in Orakei, Ranui, Wiri, Milford, Balmoral, Weymouth, Pakuranga and Birkdale.

Gas

Third party contractors caused damage to our networks in Epsom and the CBD.
