Intergen announced as six-time finalist
Intergen announced as six-time finalist in Microsoft New Zealand Partner Awards
IT services firm Intergen has been announced as a finalist in six categories at this year’s Microsoft Partner Awards, including in categories the company has not previously been associated with.
The annual Microsoft Partner awards recognise excellence in the IT sector from companies that integrate Microsoft solutions into their products and services to accelerate innovation and go above and beyond customer expectations.
2016 has been a record year for entries, and the awards incorporate a broader range of categories than in previous years. In particular, particular attention is being paid to cloud solutions and the transformational impact these are having on the Kiwi IT sector.
Simon Bright, Intergen’s Chief Executive Officer, says Intergen is very excited to be recognised amongst the finalists across such a broad range of categories.
“It is a real honour to see Intergen named a finalist across six categories, and particularly pleasing to see our name appear in new categories. This breadth of representation is a reflection of the scope of Intergen’s capability across the entire Microsoft ecosystem, and attests to our focus on helping New Zealand organisations move to the cloud.”
Intergen has been named a finalist in the following six categories:
• Cloud Enterprise Partner of the Year
• CRM Partner of the Year
• Data Analytics Partner of the Year
• Devices and Deployment Partner of the Year
• Marketing Partner of the Year
• Windows App Developer Partner of the Year (jointly with NV Interactive)
Andrew Kosmadakis, Intergen’s Practice Manager, Cloud Design and Integration, has also been named a finalist in the Partner Seller of the Year category, a category for which nominations are made by Microsoft directly.
The work Intergen has done on Ryman Healthcare’s myRyman app features in two of the award categories, Devices and Deployment Partner of the Year and Windows App Developer (with NV Interactive). The myRyman app, currently in roll-out phase across Ryman’s 30 retirement villages, will eventually run on Surface devices in all residents’ rooms. It is a transformational tool capturing all resident information, improving communication between residents, relatives and staff, ultimately designed to improve the care experience and allow Ryman staff to focus on people, not paperwork.
Intergen is one of the largest and longest-serving dedicated providers of Microsoft-based solutions in New Zealand. It has received Microsoft Partner awards in eight of the past nine years, and has been overall Partner of the Year four times.
Award winners will be announced at a black tie event on March 31.
