Family Feud Fires up 5.30pm on TV3
Family Feud debuted last week with close to 300,000 people tuning in to watch the premiere! (5+ cume, Feb. 15th)
The first episode of the family game show attracted a 4.6 rating and 21.0 per cent share in 25-54 compared to the previous four-week average of 1.4 rating and 7.5 per cent share.
During its first week, the programme averaged a 3.1 rating/14.2 per cent share in 25-54. On average, Family Feud beat Millionaire Hot Seat on TV One across all four key trading demographics (based on ratings).
Story is also continuing with competitive results. The show has been closing the 25-54 ratings gap against Seven Sharp over the course of 2015, and since the launch of Newshub (Feb. 1st), Story has won a night each week with the biggest ratings margin on Feb 16 with a 5.9 rating/16.2 per cent share in 25-54 compared with a 4.6 rating/14.5 per cent share for Seven Sharp.
TV3 had another successful Friday night on Feb 19 with The Graham Norton Show winning in 25-54 (8.4 rating and a 25.8 per cent share). Local comedy 7 Days also won in 18-49 and 25-54 (with an 8.7 share and 30.8 share in 25-54).
Paul Henry also passed an important social media milestone last week, reaching150,000 Facebook fans. Since returning to air on the first of Feb, the Facebook page reaches, on average, 1.2m New Zealanders a week .
