Gull continues to hold fuel prices below national pricing
While the major oil companies are raising fuel prices, Gull is determined to hold its prices where they are.
As an indicator of this, this morning Z raised the price of diesel, closing in on the $1 per litre mark.
“This makes Z’s diesel 20c more expensive than Gull’s when you look at our average price. Diesel can be bought for as little as 62.9c a litre at some Gull stations,” says Gull General Manager Dave Bodger.
“The major players may think it is time to increase their margins but we are determined to keep our prices low for as long as possible,” continues Bodger.
Company controlled Gull sites have diesel prices no higher than 84.9c per litre, with an average price of 78.5c. Petrol users can also get a bargain with the average price of 91 sitting 13c below the national cost, at $1.606 per litre. At some sites petrol costs are even as low as $1.499 per litre.
