Airways New Zealand Welcomes New Board Director
Experienced director and business leader Judy Kirk ONZM has joined the Board of Airways New Zealand, the air navigation service provider, effective 1 January 2016.
Kirk has extensive directorship experience in the areas of business and fundraising. She is currently Chair of Lotto NZ, Deputy Chair of Metservice NZ, director of JMK Consulting, and a member of the Institute of Directors. Kirk also served as President of the New Zealand National Party for seven years. She was appointed an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit in 2011 for services to the community.
Airways Board Chair Susan Paterson announced this appointment today. “We’re delighted to have a director with Judy’s experience joining our Board. Like Airways, Metservice has been successful in growing international revenue from IP developed in NZ. Judy is highly respected, with very good networks in NZ and we look forward to working with her for the benefit of Airways,” Ms Paterson says.
