CricHQ Team Up with Cricket Wellington
Cricket Wellington and CricHQ are pleased to announce a new commercial partnership.
CricHQ, cricket's leading Live Scoring and competition management system, have joined Cricket Wellington as the naming rights sponsor for all age group rep teams including the Provincial A’s, U19’s and U17’s. They will also be the naming rights sponsor for all Zone tournament.
CricHQ have also become the naming rights sponsor for Cricket Wellington’s brand new “CricHQ T/20 Knockout Cup” which will begin next week. In sponsoring the tournament CricHQ will provide substantial prize money to the winners and runners-up in the tournament as well as a prize to the tournament’s MVP.
In addition to the key naming right sponsorship, Cricket Wellington will be the flagship user of CricHQ’s world leading cricket management solution.
All representative games (excluding Firebirds & Blaze), age group games, zone tournaments and the “CricHQ T/20 Knockout Cup” will benefit from CricHQ’s competition management and integrated live scoring platform. The partnership allows Cricket Wellington’s staff and coaches to benefit from detailed high performance reports and CRM tools, whilst the cricket community of Wellington get better access to every level of cricket from across the region.

The announcement coincides with the launch of the brand new “CricHQ T/20 Knockout Trophy” which starts next week and allows clubs to enter up to 2 teams into a knockout format. Also involved will be 2 College 1st XI’s who will see if they can match it with the club sides. The preliminary qualifying starts on Tuesday the 26th of January with the tournament reaching its climax on Wednesday 2nd of March at the Basin Reserve with the Grand Final.
