New OCS managing director for New Zealand announced
One of New Zealand’s industry leaders in facility management, OCS, has announced a key leadership appointment with Gareth Marriott filling the role of managing director New Zealand.
Mr Marriott has been the acting managing director for OCS New Zealand for the past seven months and up until the start of this month was also the managing director for OCS Australia.
Mr Marriott is a high performing member of the OCS global management team, having steered some key business achievements for OCS Australia and the Australasia and North Asia region, since he started with the company in 2012.
Global CEO Peter Slator says he is delighted to announce Mr Marriott’s appointment.
“This builds on the good work he has been doing across Australia and New Zealand.”
Mr Marriott is an executive director for Australia, New Zealand and China and the regional sales director for Australasia and North Asia. He is also the executive director of Integrated Property Services Australia (IPS) Limited which is owned by OCS Australia.
He comes with considerable management experience having held national management positions for high profile companies in Australia including Chubb Security and Officeworks.
He has also been the recipient of the OCS Global Chairman Award for Growth in the Aviation Sector and the Global Cannon Award Winner for two consecutive years (2013 and 2014).
Now that his position has been made permanent, Mr Marriott is looking forward to building on the work he and the New Zealand OCS team have achieved in the past year.
“In my seven months as acting managing director, I’ve been impressed with our people at OCS New Zealand and the achievements they have made to our overall results. I look forward to working with them to take OCS to the next level in 2016.”
