Gull Delivers Christmas Cheer to Bethlehem

Gull New Zealand has made a special delivery to the Bay of Plenty this festive season, bringing even lower fuel prices to motorists in the region with the addition of Gull Bethlehem. Gull Bethlehem, located on the corner of State Highway 2 and Te Paeroa Road, Bethlehem, turned on the pumps today.

The 24 hour site, by the independent, family owned energy company is perfectly positioned for locals and summer holiday visitors to the region alike.

“Bethlehem is a popular suburb of Tauranga and a gateway from the north to Mount Maunganui, one of the most popular holiday spots in the North Island. “We expect those living in town and those passing through to benefit from lower prices as a result of the ‘Gull Effect’,” says Karl Mischewski, Retail Development and Sustainability Manager at Gull.

The ‘Gull Effect’ is a localised price drop across competitors following Gull’s introduction to a new location.

“We’ve seen it happen at other locations when Gull has entered the market and we believe Bethlehem will follow suit. This is our Christmas present to the Bay of Plenty – anything Gull can do to help motorists make more savings brings us so much joy.”

The pumps at Gull Bethlehem opened with a price of $1.769 for Regular 91 and $0.999 for Diesel.

Gull Bethlehem is a drive-through, pay-at-pump site providing Regular 91, Low Sulphur Diesel and Gull Force 10 (98 Octane) on four dispensers.
