UFB will enable huge benefit for business and community
BusinessNZ has welcomed the Ultra-Fast Broadband initiative’s reaching a milestone of around 95 percent of businesses within UFB coverage areas having ability to connect.
Chief Executive Phil O’Reilly says the fast rollout lays the foundation for greatly improved connectivity with the rest of the world, and New Zealand business will undoubtedly make increasing use of that over time.
“As more business applications arise, and as more smaller businesses take the leap to international trading, the value of fast broadband will be very apparent.
“Our geographical isolation from large international markets means we need the best internet connectivity possible.
“The UFB infrastructure being delivered now will enable huge benefit for future business and communities in New Zealand.”
