Aviation NZ and the Aviation Federation Announce Partnership

Aviation NZ and the Aviation Federation today announce their new partnership – focused on improving aviation safety and reducing industry compliance costs.

“Aviation NZ and the Aviation Federation together represent the vast majority of commercial and recreational aviation in New Zealand and we think that by working more closely together we can truly deliver a step change in performance in critical areas such as safety and reducing the costs of compliance to operators”

Said Don McCracken, the President of Aviation NZ “We are delighted to be partnering with Aviation NZ at this crucial time. With large scale infrastructure projects underway, such as the New Southern Sky, and the Civil Aviation Authority triennial funding review underway – our partnership creates a powerful and effective lobbying voice for industry” said Ian Andrews, the President of the Aviation Federation.

The partnership will be officially marked by an inaugural Joint Stakeholder Function at Parliament on Thursday 10 December, sponsored by Aviation NZ’s newest member JSSI, in conjunction with Redfort Group.
