Panasonic New Zealand launches new Built-in Kitchen Appliance range
30 November 2015 – Panasonic New Zealand is expanding its popular collection of Home Appliances with the introduction of a new Built-in Kitchen Appliance range, initially including Built-in Ovens, Compact Combination Ovens and Induction Hobs.
Combining sophisticated design with the latest innovations in home appliance technology, Panasonic’s new range of Built-in Kitchen Appliances have been designed to form a complete, integrated kitchen solution for the ultimate performance, convenience, and flexibility.
With the new Built-in Kitchen Appliance range, Panasonic has used its clever energy-saving technologies including Inverter, Genius Sensor+ and EcoMode, to save consumers time, money and energy, whilst delivering better results and the best possible experience in the kitchen.
Michael Opie, Home Appliances Product Manager, Panasonic New Zealand, says, "Designed especially for New Zealand households, Panasonic’s new Built-in Kitchen Appliances have a wide range of outstanding features to offer improved flexibility and control, user-friendly operation. They are also equipped with a range of safety features to keep you and your family safer in the kitchen. They have been designed to integrate perfectly into any modern kitchen and all appliances in the range share a uniform and stylish design to bring a coordinated look and feel to your kitchen.”
Panasonic Built-in Ovens
Panasonic’s Built-in Ovens have a wide-range of practical features including smooth-gliding extendable telescopic shelves for easy access and more space in the oven cavity. The ovens feature the innovative Auto Menu function that calculates cooking times based on weight, food types and heating modes. There are up to 80 Auto menu options for a wide range of foods.
The Built-in Ovens also offer Easy Clean technology, including a Pyrolytic self-cleaning system that breaks down residue into a fine ash at a very high temperature, meanwhile Panasonic’s Built-in Ovens with a highly-durable Catalytic liner break down greasy build-ups while cooking.
Panasonic’s Built-in Ovens are also equipped with ‘Ultra-Cool’ doors which employ an innovative cooling system to ensure the outer surface of the door stays as cool as possible, even when the oven cavity reaches high temperatures. The soft closing doors have also been designed to close gently, quietly and safely.
Panasonic Compact Combination Ovens
Panasonic’s high-powered Combination Ovens combine the functions of an oven and microwave into one compact shape. Consumers can grill, steam, heat or even combine functions to achieve perfect cooking results. The Combination Ovens feature Panasonic’s unique energy-saving Inverter technology for precise control of power levels, even cooking when the Microwave function is utilised. The Combination Ovens also feature a spacious flatbed design, making the oven cavity 45% larger than conventional microwave ovens with a turntable. The flatbed can be easily wiped clean after use and the altruistic catalytic back plate automatically burns away grease build-ups from food, keeping inside surfaces cleaner for longer. The Combination Ovens also feature a clear and user-friendly LED control for intuitive operation.
Panasonic Induction Hobs
Panasonic’s Induction Hobs have been designed for high-performance and complete control in the kitchen. Available in 600mm and 900mm, they have a FlexZone design which can accommodate cookware of different shapes, whilst still distributing heat evenly. Panasonic’s innovative Genius Sensor+ technology delivers quicker and more accurate temperature control. The Genius Sensor+ measures the temperature of the cookware bottom, instead of the temperature of the cooking surface, and automatically adjusts temperature levels.
The Induction Hobs have also been designed with safety in mind; they only heat up when in direct contact with cookware and they will automatically switch off if empty cookware or cooking utensils are left on the cooking zones.
A legacy of innovation
Panasonic has drawn on its extensive and innovative history in kitchen appliances to create the new range of Built-in Kitchen Appliances. Panasonic Corporation has produced and developed a highly-successful series of Induction Hobs in Japan and Europe over the past 40 years. Starting with the “Countertop 100V” Induction Hobs in 1974, Panasonic then launched flat surface Induction Hobs in 1990, followed by an illuminated ring design model in 2000. In 2007 the optical power sensor model which enabled high-powered stir-frying was introduced, before Panasonic’s unique energy-saving ECONAVI technology was added to the Induction Hobs range from 2012 to reduce power consumption.
The new Built-in Kitchen Appliances range, now available in New Zealand, draws on this rich history and has been adapted to suit the needs of busy Kiwi households with the quick start-up and auto water boiling features.
Panasonic’s Built-in Kitchen Appliances range is available from selected Harvey Norman Electrical stores from Monday 30 November 2015.
