Jump in employment figures for Pacific peoples

The number of Pacific people employed increased by 9.6 per cent in the year to September 2015, according to the latest Labour Market Factsheets for Māori and Pacific peoples released by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment today.

The factsheets are a quarterly update of key labour market statistics, and provide information on national employment for Māori and Pacific peoples by industry, occupation and region.

For more information on MBIE’s labour market analysis, and to view the factsheets visit our website: http://www.mbie.govt.nz/info-services/employment-skills/labour-market-reports.
