Veitnamazing! Travel to South East Asia on the Rise
Air New Zealand this morning announced
they will be opening a new route between Auckland and
Vietnam, a move Flight Centre NZ are very excited
about.
Sean Berenson, Flight Centre NZ general manager product says, “South East Asia has always been a popular destination for Kiwis and the new route between Auckland and Vietnam can only mean further good things for our customers keen on this part of Asia.”
Already in 2015 Flight Centre NZ has reported a ten percent increase in bookings to Vietnam, compared to the previous year, with more Kiwis looking to Vietnam as a top Asian destination than ever before.
Mr Berenson says, “Traditionally Thailand and Bali have been a key holiday spots for New Zealanders, particularly within the youth market, but Vietnam has been growing in recent years – it’s a winner among those looking to get a little more off the beaten path and travellers keen on experiencing the warm hospitality and culture of the Vietnamese.”
“Vietnam is an exciting new route for New Zealanders, it offers the opportunity to fly straight into what is still a relatively undiscovered part of South East Asia for many Kiwis. It will take travellers right into whats described as one of South East Asias most exotic destinations, a sensory overload with culture, heritage and friendly locals abound,” Mr Berenson says.
