NZ Government appoints KPMG as Tier 1 provider on new AoG Consultancy Services panel
KPMG has been appointed as a Tier 1 panel member in the All-of-Government (AoG) Consultancy Services solution, announced today by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE). The announcement formally confirms KPMG’s appointment at a top tier level in all six of the AoG Consultancy Services panel subcategories, comprising Accounting, Assurance, Audit, Finance & Economics, Procurement and Logistics, and Taxation.
KPMG partner and Head of Government Services, Souella Cumming, says the firm is delighted to be appointed to the panel. “This appointment reflects KPMG’s depth of experience in working with New Zealand Government organisations and our commitment to New Zealand’s public sector.

MBIE has established the All-of-Government solution as part of the New Zealand Government Procurement Programme, which aims to make the procurement of Consultancy Services easier for providers and Participating Agencies, reward quality, provide more transparency and achieve value for money.

The Ministry for Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) has established the All-of-Government solution as part of the New Zealand Government Procurement Programme, which aims to make the procurement of Consultancy Services easier for providers and Participating Agencies, reward quality, provide more transparency and achieve value for money. KPMG is a panel member in the AoG Consultancy Services solution for Business and Finance – Tranche 1 in the sub categories Tier 1 Accounting, Tier 1 Assurance, Tier 1 Audit, Tier 1 Finance and Economics, Tier 1 Procurement and Logistics, and Tier 1 Taxation.
Which public sector agencies will be procuring Consultancy Services through the new AoG panel?
• Core central government agencies in the Public Service and some core State Services agencies arerequired to follow Government Rules of Sourcing and to use the new AoG panel – refer tohttp://www.business.govt.nz/procurement/for-agencies/key-guidance-for-agencies/public-sector-agencies for further details;
• Other State Services agencies are expected to use the AoG panel; and
• Organisations in the wider State Sector and Public Sector are encouraged to register to use the panel.
