New Zealand brings cultural insights to PCO Conference
Manaakitanga (generous hospitality) will be to the fore in Adelaide next month, when Conventions and Incentives New Zealand (CINZ) brings together its largest-ever group for the Professional Conference Organisers (PCO) Conference and Exhibition.
CINZ Australia Manager, Sharon Auld says the group will be sharing insights into the New Zealand culture, and how it shapes a unique approach to meetings.
“Visitors to our stand will get a real feel for what their delegates can experience in New Zealand - the people and Manaakitanga - the customs and stories of the Maori people,” she says.
CINZ will be joined on the 100% Pure New Zealand stand by Tourism New Zealand and a record 15 New Zealand partner suppliers, including four first-timers.
The New Zealand offering at the PCO Conference has grown from strength to strength each year.
“Up from 11 last year to 15 this year, the 100% Pure New Zealand stand will have all the latest news from around the country and plenty of fresh ideas,” Sharon Auld says.
Popular Waikato venues Hobbiton Movie Set and Claudelands, and hotel groups Heritage Hotels and Rydges are exhibiting under the 100% Pure New Zealand banner for the first time, while Nelson, Christchurch and Dunedin regions are back for a second year.
