Secured Signing lets AWX Focus on the People
Melbourne, 29 September 2015 - There is no more powerful change a business can make than to implement the ideas of its employees. The recruitment consultants at AWX recognised that most of the precious time they had when meeting with a candidate was wasted in completing paperwork. So the company did something about it. Partnering with Secured Signing, they implemented a secure, electronic on boarding process that is much quicker and less painful, while improving the information compliance for AWX.
Getting the best person for a job involves developing a sound understanding of the individual’s strengths and weaknesses. AWX’s recruitment consultants identified that too much of the time available to talk with candidates was being consumed with filling out the necessary forms. The paper forms also wasted time and energy for back office staff with data manually entered into the recruitment management system and then stored somewhere and/or scanned.
Running a paper based on boarding process was a drag on AWX’s ability to scale to meet the demands that come with double digit year on year growth. A better solution was needed.
Secured Signing was selected by AWX to deliver a paperless on boarding process underpinned by eSigning. AWX were looking for an integrated solution that could extend the My AWX Portal rather than requiring a separate system.
“Enabling online forms and secure digital signing capabilities within the My AWX Portal was a great opportunity for us to demonstrate our updated application programming interface (API).” said Mike Eyal, Managing Director Secured Signing. “It is a strong validation of our capabilities in this area and demonstrates the value of working with a local team.”
Prior to an interview, the consultant is now able to invite the candidate to complete and sign the required forms including superannuation choice, tax file number declaration and the s71D declaration required by the Queensland government. This completely frees the interview process to focus on the candidate.
The Secured Signing solution also delivers a great candidate experience. The candidate simply clicks the link in the invitation to complete the on boarding pack on the My AWX Portal. They can complete and sign the forms online wherever they happen to be using whatever device they have, with the least amount of friction.
Integrating online forms and digital signing into the My AWX Portal using the Secured Signing API has yielded many benefits. Recruitment consultants issue the invitations to sign from within the recruitment management system they know and use all day. They don’t have another system to learn. Secured Signing delivers the data and the signed forms directly into the recruitment back office system ensuring integrity and avoiding any wasted effort in rekeying data and manually saving documents into the system
“Working with the Secured Signing development team was great.” said Anthony Horton, Information Service Manager for AWX. “The interaction was very dynamic with lots of emails gong back and forth. Their people are local and work the same time we do meaning we could get things turned around and solved quickly.”
