Air New Zealand’s Grabaseat is offering more than 4,000 cheap fares throughout the month of September with prices linked to the 9am temperature.

One of New Zealand's former favourite weather presenters, Tamati Coffey, returns as Grabaseat’s weatherman for the promotion which kicked off this morning offeringSeptemperature deals for Blenheim, Nelson and Dunedin.
Air New Zealand Group General Manager New Zealand and Pacific Louise Strutherssays, “With Blenheim’s temperature reaching a chilly four degrees at 9am lucky travellers were able to snap up $4 fares to and from the heart of Marlborough. Similarly cool fares of $6 and $3 were offered for Nelson and Dunedin.”
Ms Struthers says this is the first time Air New Zealand has allowed the weather to determine sale fares.
“With predictions of cooler temperatures for September, we’re encouraging customers to check out the coolest places to visit at grabaseat.co.nz at 9am weekdays to grab some bargains.”
