BP New Addition in Paraparaumu

BP New Addition in Paraparaumu

BP has opened a brand new BP Connect store at 108 Kapiti Rd today.

BP Connect Kapiti adds a second store to a strong BP network in the Paraparaumu area, enabling customers to get where they need to go as effortlessly as possible.

Located right next to the Kapiti Expressway currently under construction, once opened the store will be a handy stopping point for commuters.

GM of BP Retail in New Zealand, Frank van Hattum said it is an “exciting new addition to the area”.

“Our customers will benefit from a brand new BP Connect with a full convenience offer, the latest store layout and our award-winning Wild Bean Café.

“We are proud to have been able to use local builders and contractors during construction, including Wanganui- based W&W Construction Ltd, and we intend to employ local people in the new store.

“We’re happy to be an enduring part of the local community,” he said.

To celebrate, BP Connect Kapiti is opening with a five-day discount offer for registered AA Smartfuel cardholders of 10 cents per litre for up to 50 litres of fuel when they spend $40 or more.

Mr van Hattum also encouraged locals to pop in and pick up a “Your Local Card” and collect store stamps until 13 September for a chance to win a $500 BP gift card.

“You can get all the details of the store opening discounts and offers in store,” he said.

BP Connect Kapiti will have four choices of fuel – unleaded 91, unleaded 95, Ultimate 98 and Ultimate Diesel and it will be equipped with a BP Superwash.

The site uses solar power for hot water, recycled water for the carwash, collects re-usable rainwater from the rooftops, extensively uses energy efficient LED lighting and has forecourt recycling bins.

“Customers can even pick up free used coffee grinds for their gardens from the Wild Bean Café,” Mr van Hattum said.

This new store marks the opening of the 87th BP Connect Wild Bean Café in New Zealand and is another example of BP’s continued local investment and its commitment to great coffee.
