Freightways Appoints New Director
Freightways Limited (Freightways) today announces the appointment of Mark Rushworth to the Freightways Board of
Directors, with effect from 1 September 2015.
Mark will bring to Freightways more than a decade’s governance experience, predominantly in the high tech and innovation
space. Currently the CEO of New Zealand’s digital payments business Paymark, Mark is also a director of mobile wallet
technology company Semble and he has also served as Executive Director for Vodafone New Zealand and internet provider
ihug.
In welcoming Mark as a Freightways Director, Chairman Sue Sheldon said, “Mark brings to Freightways many positive
attributes, including extensive experience in the technology sector. Mark’s career background and passion for digital
innovation complements the capabilities and experience of Freightways’ other Directors and is expected to assist the
corporate governance of the company and the execution of its digital strategies. I am delighted to welcome Mark to the
Freightways team.”

At the company’s Annual Shareholders Meeting in Auckland on 29 October 2015, shareholders will be asked to elect Mark
Rushworth to the Board of Freightways Limited.
