My Food Bag arrives in Dunedin

For Dunedin dwellers the evening meal is about to become a whole lot simpler, as My Food Bag brings its successful home delivery service to New Zealand’s largest southern city.

The home delivery service provides free range, high quality ingredients with healthy recipes featuring seasonal produce designed by MasterChef Nadia Lim and her test kitchen team.

Initially launched in Auckland in March 2013, My Food Bag expanded across the country in less than two years. Following the successful launch in Auckland the service was extended to Hamilton, Wellington, the wider Waikato region, Tauranga, Palmerston North, Christchurch and now Dunedin.

“We are excited to bring foodies of Dunedin a choice between our four bags, including the latest addition to the My Food Bag family, My Own Bag,” says Cecilia Robinson, My Food Bag group CEO. “The first deliveries in Dunedin will be on Sunday 30 August and online orders can be placed from today.”

“We are excited to have expanded further into the South Island as providing My Food Bag services for more Kiwis has been a long term vision for the company,” says Robinson, who founded My Food Bag together with celebrity chef and dietician Nadia Lim and respected New Zealand business woman, Theresa Gattung. “This is also a nostalgic move for Nadia as she studied in Dunedin and is rather fond of the Southern city.”

Nadia Lim, who creates the recipes exclusively for My Food Bag says eating healthy has to be easy and delicious. “My Food Bag is convenient, fun and each meal has to taste great,” says Lim. “We love hearing from our customers about how much the service has helped them.”
