Southern Excellence Awards
Property Council South Island Branch is delighted to launch its inaugural Southern Excellence Awards in partnership with
Meridian Energy.
For the first time in the region, commercial property professionals, developers, investors, managers and enthusiasts
will have the opportunity to be celebrated for their commitment to the industry and the local economy.
Branch President Jo McDonald says the awards have been developed to recognise the industry crusaders who have paved the
way and whose vision will shape the region’s cities and towns for future generations.
“Property Council South Island is unashamedly parochial and a staunch supporter of our region. However there are a few
attributes that we truly excel at; loyalty, support in the face of adversity, strength and unity. We are not just a
network of people, we are a community.”

The up-and-coming achievers and all those tall-poppies in between.”
The Branch is recognising seven award categories:
• Greenwood Roche Young Achiever of the Year
• Kirk Roberts Consulting Engineers Award for Service
• The Buchan Group Urban Design & Architectural Merit Award
• WSP | PB Best Project Team Award
• Prendos Property Industry Associate of the Year Award
• Resene Outstanding Leadership Award
• Anderson Lloyd Judges Choice Award
Individuals from throughout the mainland are invited to submit their nominations and applications from Monday 10
September. The Property Council New Zealand | Meridian Energy Southern Excellence Awards, will be held on 20 November at
the Air Force Museum in Christchurch.
